Terms of Service

Duorant (“the Service”) helps players find duo partners in real time. The Service is an independent fan project and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

You must link your Riot account before joining the match queue, and linking is only possible through Riot's official login (Riot Sign On). You may optionally connect Discord for voice coordination.

The Service is available only to users aged 14 or older.

To close your account, send a request to the contact email at the bottom of this page. Once we verify the request we delete your account and the related personal data, and inform you of the outcome. Retention and deletion rules follow our Privacy Policy.

You may not use the Service for cheating, harassment, fraud, scraping, automated abuse, or any activity that violates Riot Games policies or applicable law.

Repeatedly leaving matches without notice, intentionally disrupting matches, or abusing the queue may result in restrictions or account suspension.

Before we restrict or suspend an account we tell you the reason and the action taken. In urgent cases where other users may be harmed, we may act first and notify you afterwards.

If you disagree with an action, you may respond through our contact email. If your explanation is accepted, we lift the restriction.

Matching is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee a partner, rank compatibility, voice quality, or in-game results.

The Service may change, pause, or end features at any time for maintenance, security, or policy compliance.

If we discontinue the Service entirely, we announce it in the Service at least 30 days before the shutdown date.

The Service uses Riot Games API data under the Riot Developer Portal policies. Riot data belongs to Riot Games and its licensors.

We also use Supabase (auth/database), Vercel (hosting), and Discord OAuth when you choose to connect Discord. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

The Service is provided free of charge and “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

The Service only introduces players to each other for duo matching. We are not a party to the conversations, gameplay, or arrangements that take place between users, and we are not liable for disputes or damages arising between them. If you report a problem, we will take appropriate action such as restricting access.

We are not liable for service interruptions caused by outages, policy changes, or discontinuation of third-party services, including the Riot Games API, Discord, Supabase, and Vercel.

Rank and match history are supplied by the Riot Games API. We do not guarantee that this data is current or accurate.

We are not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, power failures, or network outages.

None of the above limits our liability for damages caused by our own intent or gross negligence.

These Terms and your use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

We aim to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion first. If that is not possible, the dispute may be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

We may update these Terms. Changes are announced in the Service at least 7 days before they take effect — or at least 30 days before, for changes that are unfavorable to users or otherwise material.

Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, you may close your account.
